When you activate a new theme, by default, WordPress displays your most recent posts on your site’s home page. Many themes are designed with a static front page, common for users desiring static or welcoming information on their site’s homepage. The look and contents of the homepage vary from theme to theme.
How to set a static front page
Log in to WordPress via the HostPapa Dashboard. Go to Appearance > Customize > Static front page.
Select the A static page radio button.
From the Front Page dropdown menu, select the page you want to display as your site’s homepage.
From the Posts page dropdown menu, select the page you want your blog posts to display.
Click Save and Publish.
If you need help with your HostPapa account, please open a support ticket from your dashboard.
